Delivering remarkable voice quality equal to the SoundStation Premier and a 50% increase in microphone sensitivity over the award-winning SoundStation, users can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly up to ten feet away – making every call a more productive call. (Note: for even broader sound coverage please consider the SoundStation2 EX (expandable), and the SoundStation2 EX with 2 external mics.

You'll also enjoy new features, including a large backlit display that offers easily visible call information and telephone functions. Smart technology, such as Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR), provides maximum microphone sensitivity, while reducing distracting room and background noise. And the SoundStation2 offers 360-degree microphone coverage with intelligent mixing – so only the microphone closest to the speaker is on for crystal clear conferencing. Add traditional telephone features like redial, mute, transfer, and hold and you have a conference phone that's also familiar and easy to use.

System Connection Options
All Konexx Konferencing Adapter - hooks up the conferencing unit through the handset on the digital telephone.
Norstar - All Use the Norstar Analog Adapter - EATA or ATA2.
Norstar - MICS Use the Norstar Analog Adapter - EATA or ATA2.  Or, use an available single line analog port on the MICS Analog Station Module NTBB51CA or NTBB51CB
Norstar - BCM Use the Norstar Analog Adapter - EATA or ATA2.  Or, use an available analog port on the Norstar BCM 8 Module
Meridian PBX Use an available single line analog port on an analog card, such as the NT8D09AK or NT8D09BK.
Avaya Partner ETR Port (Partner Extension) on an expansion module or direct connection through the Partner MLS-12D, Partner MLS-34D, Partner 18D or Partner 34D.  For all other Partner phone model, use the 267F2 adapter to split the wall jack to accept the phone and the conferencing unit.
Avaya Merlin Classic / Plus Use the General Purpose Adapter (GPA)
Avaya Merlin II Use an available port on the 012 Basic Telephone module
Avaya Merlin Legend Use an available port on the 012 Basic Telephone module, 016 Tip/Ring module, 016 ETR module or directly connect to a MLX phone using the Multi Function Module
Avaya Merlin Magix Use an available port on the 016 Tip/Ring or Merlin Magix 016 ETR module or directly connect to a MLX phone using the Multi-Function Module
Definity Use an available single line analog port TN742, TN746, TN746B, TN2793B, or TN793B
